Objective:
We would like to create an occasion where researchers of different branches of qualitative sciences can gather and exchange ideas and motivations. In particular problems naturally arizing in mathematical physics, applied mathematics and differential geometry, which are formulated in terms of partial differential equations will be the common thread among the participants. Topics disscussed during the week will include (yet, will not be restricted to)

Condensed matter physics
Brane gravity and higher dimensional spacetimes
Einstein equation in general relativity
Harmonic maps, minimal submanifolds and geometric measure theory
Lagrangian submanifolds in symplectic geometry
Prescribed curvature equations on manifolds
Variational formulations in material science
